Narrative Assessment - Literacy - 22 Feb 2016

Learner: Vicky                  Learning Coach:  Miriam Kamsteeg               Date: 22 Feb 2016
Learning Area: Literacy - Writing
Learning Observed
At writing today we talked about stories that started with, “I can see…”. With the Learners we looked for the words on the word cards and the sounded out the beginning part of the last part of the sentence. At Guided Writing time Vicky was writing with me. She started her brainstorm picture and then asked me how to write the next parts. She wanted to write, “ I can see a castle”. I helped her find the coloured box to find the words in and then we sounded out castle. Vicky then attempted to record the initial sound of castle.
